Purple Fingers in the Air
It wasn't hard, at the time, to make fun of the American romance with The Vote. But some of that cynicism dissolved this past weekend watching the Iraqi election returns - throw ya gunz in the air, indeed.
Or, if you are of military rearing: go ahead and do that, but then pull the gun down, point it at someone and blast away, as it is "a hell of a hoot."
Whatever allegiance you pledge, I offer an open-ended homage to firearms. The Money Boss Players' "Gunplay" is ridiculously nasty with its six-six-six-story piano drops (a la Margo's Cool Out Crew's "Guardian Angel"), gunshot fills and clouds of powder. I have scraped off the lyrics (thus the "open-ended" part), so feel free to compose your own tribute to voting, or dying, or both.
